Prince Harry secretly returned to the UK and is said to have reunited with his brother, Prince William. Harry was in Britain for their uncle Lord Robert Fellowes’ funeral.
The Independent, a British newspaper, reports that Harry came back to the UK after being away for nearly 40 months. The last time the brothers were seen together in public was at their father, King Charles’ coronation last May.
However, there are reports that Harry and William kept their distance at the funeral. They sat apart at the back of St Mary’s Church and arrived quietly, according to The Independent. The Sun also mentioned that the brothers didn’t talk to each other and stayed separated during the service.
Lord Fellowes died on July 29 at the age of 82. He was Princess Diana’s older sister’s husband and served as Queen Elizabeth II’s private secretary for many years.
The relationship between Harry and William has been strained since Harry left his royal duties in 2020 and made negative comments about his family to the press. In his 2023 book, “Spare,” Harry claimed that William physically attacked him during an argument about Meghan Markle.
