Kate Middleton thrilled royal fans by announcing she has finished her chemotherapy.
On Monday, the Princess of Wales shared an emotional video updating her supporters on her cancer treatment. In the video, she said, “As the summer comes to an end, I cannot tell you what a relief it is to have finally completed my chemotherapy treatment.”
Kate also mentioned that her focus now is to stay “cancer-free,” adding, “Although I have finished chemotherapy, my path to healing and full recovery is long and I must continue to take each day as it comes.”
The video, which included touching moments from the Wales family’s recent summer vacation, also sparked questions about whether Kate is actually cancer-free. Royal commentator Richard Palmer addressed the debate on X, stating that it is “incorrect” to describe Catherine as “cancer-free” at this stage.
Richard Palmer wrote, “There’s some mixed messaging and confusing headlines tonight. Kate says, ‘Doing what I can to stay cancer-free is now my focus,’ but we’ve also been told it’s incorrect to describe her as ‘cancer-free’ or in remission.”
It’s important to remember that Princess Kate announced her cancer diagnosis in March 2024. Since then, the mother of three has kept a low profile while undergoing preventative chemotherapy.
