Deepika Padukone Embraces Aishwarya Rai’s Parenting Approach, Chooses Not to Hire a Nanny

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone might choose to keep their baby daughter away from the media, like other celebrities such as Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli. The Bollywood stars welcomed their first child, a baby girl, on September 8th. They shared the news with a sweet Instagram post saying, “Welcome baby girl.”

Deepika and Ranveer are reportedly taking a traditional approach to parenting. Instead of hiring a nanny, they plan to take care of their baby themselves. This is similar to what Aishwarya Rai Bachchan did with her child.

Sources say the couple might also follow the example of other celebrity parents like Alia Bhatt and Virat Kohli by keeping their daughter’s face hidden from the media and possibly enforcing a ‘no paparazzi’ rule.

Deepika, who has a busy career, will take a break from work and is expected to be on maternity leave until March 2025. After that, she will return to acting in the sequel to Kalki 2898 AD, which also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and Prabhas.

Ranveer Singh is getting ready for several new projects, including Singham Again and Don 3, where he will act with Kiara Advani.

As they start this new chapter as parents, Deepika and Ranveer have been visited by close friends and family, including Shah Rukh Khan and the Ambani family. Fans are excited to see the couple’s baby girl, but it’s unclear when or if they will share her with the public.
